Casting Music Into the Void to See What Echoes

Written, performed, recorded, mixed, filmed, etc. etc. by me with a few notable guest performance appearances by marvelous people. I’ve been a music fan all my life, but made the heavy decision to pursue engineering in lieu of music in my early years. Now, in my not-so-early years, whenever I get the chance, I compose and play….. guitar, mandolin, harmonica, piano, bass guitar, drums, or anything I can get my hands on.

I hope some of this (any of this) brings someone else some joy too. I’ll be always adding more as time permits and as the muse strikes. Perhaps soon tracks from My Other Band will also find their way here.

The Next One

(2022 – 2023) This second collection of songs I’ve written, performed, and recorded. I kinda really like how these turned out. Topics range from introspection on career choice to tongue-and-cheek country to film noir inspiration. I am joined on a few of these by a guest vocalist who sings so much better than I do… and I might just be getting better mixing these things.

Exempt Human Specimen

(2021-2022) A collection of my first 8. These are decidedly more traditional guitar, vocal, percussion…. kinda more indy-folk. Another Love Song is really the only one that sports any significant guitar effect, and just distortion at that. Rosita is really the first time I have intentionally played piano in many years; i guess I miss it a bit. Thoughts on 50 features a little harmonica.
